An often ignored component of fitness, stretching the muscles and tissue is essential for functional movement, recovery, injury prevention, and reduction of pain or soreness.

In addition, stretching is a tool that helps us reconnect with our body, especially when practiced in a mindful way. Assisted stretching with a certified professional will help you gain body awareness as you reacquaint yourself with your body’s movement patterns and address any imbalances or postural issues.

Assisted stretching for all bodies

In stretch sessions with me, we’ll utilize the breath and mental focus as we move deeper into stretches. We’ll perform each stretch in a mindful and safe manner – recognizing that many of us have difficulty being present in our own body. I believe stretching is a great tool to deepen or reestablish connection with your body.

We’ll progress at a pace that is right for you, as every body is different.

After just a few sessions, you’ll notice a difference in the way your body feels, moves, and performs in both your physical training and everyday activities. Common results are stress reduction, better recovery after workouts, less muscle and joint pain, and just feeling better in your own body!
